We have finished a dining table and chairs commission.

The area has interesting angular shapes which inspired the geometric design.

We had several pieces of work photographed by Mark Sinclair of Phatsheep. You can see more of his work at www.phatsheep.co.uk. Each year Shetland Arts and crafts pays for members to have professional photography of the work done. This little stool has a hand carved seat and is made in ash with the natural edges still on it.

We have just been on a photo shoot at St Ninian's Isle hence all the photos on the beach. It was a really beautiful day for April and the light was perfect for photographing our furniture.

Andrew is going to Norway next week to work on a stofa building project. Stofas are a traditional Norwegian style log cabin. They are partly rebuilding one which will be taken to Papa stour in the summer where archeologists

had found the remains of one dating from Viking times.
