17th November 2008 This year's craft fair at the Clickimin Centre went well with good interest in our work and some new prospective customers to follow up. Pictured right is the Paparwark stand.
11th November 2008 The Paparwark team are busy preparing for the this weekend's Clickimin Craft Fair 2008. If being one of the exhibitors wasn't enough Cecil is on the Shetland Arts & Crafts committee so he's in for a busy weekend!

"Touched by Scotland" is a gallery in Oyne, Aberdeenshire which specialises in contemporary arts & crafts by Scottish businesses.
Paparwark's exhibition runs until the end of December 2008.
17th July 2008 We have finished a dining table and chairs commission. The area has interesting angular shapes which inspired the geometric design.
4th June 2008 We had several pieces of work photographed by Mark Sinclair of Phatsheep. You can see more of his work at www.phatsheep.co.uk. Each year Shetland Arts and crafts pays for members to have professional photography of the work done. This little stool has a hand carved seat and is made in ash with the natural edges still on it.
17th April 2008 We have just been on a photo shoot at St Ninian's Isle hence all the photos on the beach. It was a really beautiful day for April and the light was perfect for photographing our furniture. Andrew is going to Norway next week to work on a stofa building project. Stofas are a traditional Norwegian style log cabin. They are partly rebuilding one which will be taken to Papa stour in the summer where archeologists had found the remains of one dating from Viking times.
