Every now and then we get a piece of timber that has a story to tell, and we have the task to capture it’s history in a piece of furniture. This timber had a long journey: While working in a remote geo (inlet) in South Wales on environmental work, the client had spotted this beautiful and rare hardwood driftwood. It was collected by boat and then kept by the client for the perfect project. They then moved to Shetland and the idea to have it crafted in the a beautiful table emerged . The wood planked up perfectly and the result was this large circular dining table.
