4-Poster Bed

Project Description

This is the first 4-poster bed we have made, and we love the design of this one, being a modern take on a classic concept. Creating a larger piece of furniture always has its challenges, not least ensuring you can erect it quickly on site, and on this occasion, it needed to be possible to dismantle it for moving house.

The king-sized bed sits on a plinth which means the posts stand away from the edges of be bed. The whole design is completed in oak, ensuring strength and longevity.
