This is a beautifully hand-crafted bread kneading board. Made from Ash and finished with food safe Mineral Oil, the large, paneled bread board shows off the beautiful range of wood grain Patterns that ash has to offer, complimented with the mat finish created by the oil. The board also has a wooden stop for stability, allowing it to be pushed up against the edging of many kitchen work surfaces. This traditional Bread board design has been used through generations of Shetland homes, it can be used primarily for knocking back and kneading dough or traditionally in making ‘Bannocks’, or for making many types of confectionery. Whatever the occasion, you can be sure that this piece of Kitchen wear can be utilized for its functionality and admired for its character in any household.
